Inside the studio
Unlike typical gyms, this one features a distinctive Japanese-style interior.

The room isn't particularly spacious, but the high ceiling with exposed beams gives it a sense of openness.

When performing chiropractic treatment after training, we use a folding bed. However, please rest assured that this is not a simple folding bed, but a professional-grade bed used in regular chiropractic clinics.

Training equipment/machinery
Our studio's equipment is simple, consisting only of free weights (dumbbells, barbells, etc.) and a power rack, and we do not have the weight training machines you would find in a sports club.
When you hear the term "free weights," you might imagine it's difficult, but
- You can train your entire body in a balanced way with a small number of exercises.
- It helps you train movements that are directly applicable to real life.
- If you learn the correct form, you can do it anywhere.
These are some of the advantages, making it an ideal method for ordinary people who are not competitive athletes to build a toned physique.
Power rack
The most prominent square iron frame in the studio is called a power rack, a piece of equipment designed for safe weight training. You will primarily be doing your weight training within this area.
The ONI power racks used in our studio are built to professional standards, offer fine-tuning capabilities, and allow you to train with peace of mind.
Additionally, the power rack is equipped with a lat pulldown machine, which is used to train the back muscles (latissimus dorsi).
barbell

At the Okazaki studio, we primarily use barbells for training. A barbell, as shown in the picture above, is a long bar with plates (weights) attached to both ends. The weight is adjusted using the plates.
This might get a little technical, but there are two types of barbell shafts: standard shafts and Olympic shafts.
Many gyms boast "professional-grade equipment!" and provide Olympic barbells, but a typical Olympic barbell weighs 20kg just for the bar itself.
In reality, lifting 20kg all at once is quite difficult for a woman who has never exercised before. At the Okazaki studio, we use a special 10kg Olympic barbell so that women can start without difficulty.

I don't think there are many gyms that have an Olympic barbell of this weight.
Also, while it's common to adjust the weight of the plates (weights) in 2.5kg increments, this often results in too much weight being added at once, making it difficult to lift.
Therefore, our studio provides weight plates that can be adjusted in increments as small as 0.5 kg. This ensures that even women and elderly people with less strength can train without straining themselves.
PowerBlock Dumbbells
This is a type of dumbbell called a PowerBlock (a weight held in one hand). It's often used as an auxiliary weight. While its shape might be unfamiliar, it's an excellent tool for quickly changing weights.

bench

A bench is a piece of equipment used in various types of training, and at the Okazaki studio, we use the Super Bench Pro from IRONMASTER.
This multi-functional bench can be transformed into an incline bench, leg curl bench, leg extension bench, and abdominal bench by using optional parts.
Other facilities in the studio

You can listen to your favorite CDs or connect your smartphone to play your favorite music while you train. Please feel free to ask us about it.
