The B3 (Bee Three) diet is a weight loss program devised by Masayuki Tokuyama, a former professional kickboxer and osteopath, and has the following characteristics:
- Focus on training three muscle groups that are effective for weight loss.
- A unique dietary method that makes you feel less hungry and helps your body easily burn fat.
- Body care and training guidance by a practicing osteopath.
- Instruction that continues even after the program ends.
The muscles being trained are different!

The B3 diet focuses on strengthening three major muscle groups (which the B3 diet refers to as the "Big 3"): the area around the hip joint (front and back of the thighs and buttocks), the back, and the chest, as shown in the diagram above.
By training the Big 3
- Training large muscle groups is advantageous for maintaining and improving basal metabolism.
- It is also effective in improving posture.
- The movement of the hip joint and shoulder blade, which are essential for movement, will improve.
These are some of the advantages.
Furthermore, in addition to strengthening muscles, we want you to develop a "body that can move," so we also provide proper form instruction and movement training.
While many people believe that anyone can do strength training, a solid understanding of anatomy and kinesiology is necessary to properly train the muscles you truly want to strengthen.
As a chiropractor, I am a professional at correcting muscle and joint problems, so I am confident that I have more knowledge and experience than the average trainer about which movements affect which muscles and what movements can cause pain.
Furthermore, if you're not feeling well, you can receive care through chiropractic treatment while training, so even those with back pain or other aches and pains, or those who have never exercised before, can train with peace of mind.
Also, I'm not a fan of the typical athletic club mentality, so I won't push you to the extreme or force you to do anything against your will. Conversely, if you like that kind of atmosphere, you should probably go to a different gym.
A meal plan that allows you to eat properly
Simply reducing the amount you eat without considering the underlying reasons increases the risk of harming your health and making you more prone to weight regain.
The B3 diet guides you in developing a body type (hormone balance) that is less prone to weight gain by controlling the balance of the three major nutrients (protein, carbohydrates, and fats). We also provide advice on vitamin and mineral intake as needed.
Unless you have a very low level of daily activity, you should be able to eat a normal amount of food.
You can still eat properly, but changing your diet means changing your eating habits, so be prepared for some degree of stress.
Body care through chiropractic treatment
Unlike typical personal training, B3 Diet incorporates body care through osteopathic treatment. Therefore, even those who are unable to exercise at all or have physical concerns can start training with peace of mind. Furthermore, treatments and advice are available for pelvic correction, posture improvement, and bowleg correction.
Furthermore, chiropractic treatment not only relieves muscle fatigue but also helps regulate the autonomic nervous system, so it can also be expected to alleviate stress caused by dieting.
Some people say that a chiropractic treatment after training is their reward.
Three coaching points that consider what happens after the event.
One-on-one personal training often focuses solely on weight loss, but what's truly important is what happens after the program ends.
With the B3 diet, our ultimate goal is for you to be able to manage your body shape independently, so we provide guidance with that in mind.

Through three months of guidance, you will learn a correct and sustainable way of eating (what you should eat).
We will also provide lectures on diet for maintaining your physique, so you will be able to handle both continuing to lose weight and maintaining your current weight.

Towards the end of the period, we discuss "how to continue training after the course ends" and switch to training tailored to that plan. Specifically,
- If you join a sports club, choose an activity that takes into account the equipment available at that club.
- If you're doing it at home, you'll need to consider the necessary equipment and choose exercises that suit your home environment.
- We propose a manageable weekly menu tailored to your lifestyle (how many times a week you can do it, how much time you have available, etc.).
We will show you how to exercise on your own by doing things like that.

70% of the success or failure of a diet and whether you can maintain your figure depends on your mental state and mindset. Therefore, during this period...
- The mindset of people who don't gain weight regarding food.
- Eating methods that make you feel satisfied
- How to build a mental resilience to stress
We will guide you on these points. If you can master these things, you will be able to control your appetite and motivation effectively, which will be useful not only for dieting but also in other areas of your life.
In this way, at the Okazaki studio, you can learn not only how to lose weight, but also the techniques and knowledge needed to maintain a healthy and slim body.
